“SEX and the GODDESS” is available now

An Intimate Exploration of Woman’s Erotic Spirit and Sacred Sexual Power

in Myth, Legend, Life, and History

By Karin E Weiss, Ph.D

PUBLISHED IN TWO VOLUMES:

SEX AND THE GODDESS is centered on the premise that a woman’s sexual nature undergirds and pervades all aspects of life, is intricately linked to her creative energy and is inseparable from her spiritual nature.  Through inspiration from a rich mix of psychological, philosophical, mythological and historical stories, the book shows examples of women of power throughout the world, past and present.  It draws a circle of female “Archetypes” based on the eight-fold Lunar Cycle, demonstrating specific roles women are called to play in their lives.

VOLUME ONE:  Mother, Maiden, Wildwoman, Muse

VOLUME TWO:  Lover, Companion, Warrior, Wisewoman

In these two books, I offer the reader some mental soul-food.  I invite her to enter the search, to wander the pathways and gather varied perspectives, to select for herself from among different ideas, and to blend her own story-flavors with those of others rather than passively ingest the pre-cooked fare dished out by conventional authorities.
