Help! I’m drowning in my computer!
I’ve had a Facebook page for several years and rarely did anything on it. I only had about ten “friends” there, and shared trivia or added posts from interesting sites about once every couple of weeks at best. Suddenly, within the last week, I’ve acquired a couple dozen “new” friends from a gang at work who friend each other and now I’ve been immersed in reading and posting stuff for hours at a time! Every day! And loving it! Getting a new addiction.
But my Newsfeed gets so long I can never get to the end of one days’ posts. I don’t know how people with hundreds of “friends” can manage it. It can take over your life. Vicarious living.
Goddess! Between working on building this Blog, Pinning stuff into my Pinterest boards, tending to my kitties, going to work four days a week at WalMart, and now checking on friends on Facebook, I don’t know how I will ever get anything else done again! There aren’t hours enough in a day, nor years enough left in my lifetime to do everything I plan on doing. It’s time to cut something out, but I just keep adding new stuff instead.
